Gestural marks, line, shape, color, this series evokes joy & free expression. “As a glass half-full type of person, my abstract series of paintings expresses my joy and gratitude for each and every day.” My work draws from the rich palette of the natural world, capturing everything from the colors of the sky to the minutiae beneath our feet. In my pieces, I play with contrasts—light against shadow, bold hues against muted tones, smooth textures against rough, the angular and the curvilinear. I'm fascinated by the interplay of strength and delicacy in nature and in ourselves, and I strive to reflect this tension in my art.
